What is the Ethernet speed on GS3?
GS3 supports the speed of 100Mbps or 1Gbps. However, GS3 module is pluggable in SFP or SFP+ ports. When inserted in a 10GbE ports, you may need to set that port statically to 1Gbps speed.
Does GS3 support power over ethernet?
The GS3 is an RS232 based SFP module, not an ethernet SFP. We are not aware of any ethernet SFP's that support POE due to the lack of power traces on the golden finger side of the SFP per standard.
What security protocol does GS3 use?
GS3 uses SSHv2 to ensure secure connection to the equipment console.
